2010 - MyFantasyLeague.com Is Now Servicing HomeGrownSports.com Customers

Dear HomeGrownSports Commissioners,

The transfer of your league data from Homegrown Sports to MyFantasyLeague.com is complete and you can now access your new league using the link we've emailed to you. If you did not receive an email from us, please contact us at sales@myfantasyleague.com.

We were able to transfer the following settings from your 2009 league: The league and its basic setup options, the teams, the 2009 rosters, the historical matchup data (i.e. wins and losses from previous season), 2009 top performing players, and your scoring system.

We were not able to transfer the add/drop settings or the trade deadlines, so your league has been set up with a default set of waiver and lineup rules, and you can change those settings anytime between now and the start of the season.

You'll also want to check out your draft settings. MyFantasyLeague offers both offline and online drafts so check out those settings and you can select the type of draft you'll use in 2010.

You can work directly with the MyFantasyLeague.com support staff if you have any question about your league from this point forward. Be aware that we've made every effort to properly transfer and recreate all of the items listed above for your league, but we still strongly recommend that you double check all of the settings to make sure everything is correct.

Now for the best part -- MyFantasyLeague.com has agreed to offer you a special discount price for the 2010 season. You can purchase your 2009 league on MyFantasyLeague.com at the reduced rate of $44.95, which is the same price it would have cost to run your league with HomeGrownSports.com as a returning customer in 2010! This discounted price will automatically appear on your order form when you purchase your 2010 league with MyFantasyLeague.com.

MyFantasyLeague.com also has additional features that weren't available with HomeGrownSports. Some of the highlights include:

  • Integrated Live Chat system for trash talking.
  • Fantasy Previews and Fantasy Recaps, which are automatically generated fantasy writeups.
  • On-line Auctions.
  • Community message boards for sharing ideas with other leagues (and for receiving support from other commissioners).
  • Yearly Enhancements and Improvements based on customer feedback.

You'll also notice that MyFantasyLeague.com has options that allow you to customize the appearance of your league. We've tried to make it look as much as possible like your old league on Homegrown Sports, but you are free to change color schemes and logos, or use skins to completely change the look of your league as desired.

I really think you're going to like the new features and the new service.

After you login, you can review your 2009 league, and then follow the instructions at the top to upgrade it to the 2010 season.

I want to thank everyone one last time for working with us over the last 12 years. It was a pleasure to meet all of you and I sincerely hope you like the new service. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact MyFantasyLeague.com by sending an email to sales@myfantasyleague.com, or use the "Help Center" link found on the top of your league pages to submit a Support Ticket.

Sincerely,

John Garber
