Define Blind Bidding Waiver parameters using this screen. Blind bidding is not supported for deluxe leagues.
NOTE: This page requires that at least one "Blind Bidding" waiver type be defined using the League Calendar Setup screen.
Salary Cap Dollars And Blind Bidding Dollars Treated As One And The Same- This option is only available if the league has enabled the use of salary cap support on the General League Setup page. When set to 'Yes', a winning blind bid amount populates the player's current salary. This will also prevent the commissioner from entering various fields on this setup page, as the blind bidding amount is programmatically determined based on values define on the General Salary Cap Setup.
Do Winning Blind Bid Waiver Amounts Get Assigned As Player Salaries? Turning this option on causes the system to assign blind bid amounts as player salaries.
Max. Blind Bidding Amount - Enter the overall amount each owner may spend on blind bidding waivers throughout the season. Do not include special characters (ie, "$" and ",").
All Blind Bids Must Be In Increments Of - Enter a value in this field to define a minimum raise in order for one franchise to outbid another. For example, if you enter "1" and the current bid on a player is "5", a new bid of at least "6" is required to outbid the current bid.
Minimum Blind Bid Amount - Specify a value here to create a floor (lowest amount) for all initial bids.
Amount charged for player acquired via FCFS waivers - Specify a value here to have this amount charged to an owners blind bidding balance when making a First Come - First Served waiver move.
Auto-Processing Support - Enable this feature to automatically process all blind bid waiver requests at the end of each blind bid waiver event as defined in the League Calendar Setup screen. Note that waivers are never automatically processed on Sundays between 1pm ET and midnight Monday morning, as that's when games are on-going. If your league would like waivers to be processed on Sundays, the commissioner must manually process waivers.
Conditional Blind Bid Support - Disabled by default, commissioners can enable this to allow for blind bidding.
Conditional blind bids are a lot like waiver request waiver moves, in that owners can enter multiple rounds of waiver moves, and prioritize their picks in each round. Each round's worth of requests is looked at, top to bottom, and the first bid that is considered valid is the one that the system will accept, ignoring future bids in that round. Here's a concrete example of how conditional blind bidding works, assuming franchises 1 and 2, and players A through Z, with a season-long blind bidding limit of $10, and no owners having any money spent on blind bidding.

Read as English, these bids mean:
| • | Franchise 1, in round 1, wants to acquire player A for a bid of $5, and drop player Z. If that bid cannot be done, he wants to acquire player B for a bid of $8, and drop player Z. Note that even though the bid for player B is higher than the bid for player A, the bid for player A is listed first, and therefore given higher priority. |
| • | Franchise 1, in round 2, wants to acquired player C for a bid of $6, and drop player Y. If that bid cannot be done, he wants to acquire player D for a bid of $2, and drop player Y. |
| • | Franchise 2, in round 1, wants to acquire player A for a bid of $4, and drop player X. Note that this bid does not have a second-ranked bid, so if this bid does not go through, player X will remain on franchise 2's roster. |
| • | Franchise 2, in round 2, wants to acquire player C for a bid of $5, and drop player W. If that bid cannot go through, then he wants to acquire player D for a bid of $1, and drop player W. |
On the process waivers page, the system will look at the bids, starting with the highest dollar amount top priority bid, and continue looking at bids until all are processed (either successfully, by doing the add/drop, or unsuccessfully, because the bid is considered invalid), and by default select the bid that it thinks should go through (or "None", if it considers all bids invalid).
NOTE: Do not change this setting if you have any pending blind bids. First go to the Process Waivers screen to process the pending bids and then change this setting as needed.
Winning Bids Charge As 'Real Dollars' - For all winning blind bids, convert the amount to a corresponding amount in the league's accounting.
Per-Franchise Year-To-Date Blind Bidding Adjustments - Enter in an amount with witch to use as an adjustment on a per-team basis for blind bidding waivers for the entire season.
Blind Bidding Tiebreakers -
Earliest Submitted Bid Wins - Specify this setting to give priority to the owner that submitted a tied bid first.
Sort Criteria Listed - Select this option and then specify the order of any sort criteria to be used to break any blind bidding ties. All sort criteria are used in a worst-to-first manner.
NOTE: Add the Balance Available To Spend On Blind Bidding or Total Amount Spent YTD On Blind Bidding columns to the league standings report by going to the Standings Column Setup.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Blind Bid Waiver Setup button in order to apply your changes.
