For Commissioners > Setup > Players And Rosters > Enter Custom Players

 

This screen allows a commissioner to enter up to 200 custom players for their league. some leagues might want to use these slots for things like college players, or any other players that we do not have in our database that an owner in you league would like to acquire.

 

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

 

1.Please double-check our master player database list to be certain that the player you're looking for is not already listed in our player database.
2.This feature should only be used for players that are not currently on an NFL Team's 53-man roster. For example, you can use this to enter the name of a college player, but you should never use this feature to enter a player that has been recently signed with an NFL team's 53-man roster, as he will most likely be added to our master player database shortly. If you have any doubt whether or not you should manually enter a player into the system, please contact us before entering the player.
3.Custom players will never, under any circumstances be scored automatically by the system. Once a player is active in the NFL, he will be added to our master player database, and that player (not your custom-entered player, even if their names are identical) will be scored automatically at that point.
4.Once a custom player has been entered into the system, he may never be removed by you, in order that the integrity of all historical reports be maintained. However, a custom player's NFL team and position may be changed and you can hide a custom player in your league.

6.All players entered via this page will be displayed on your league pages with an asterisk (*) next to their names.

 

 

Disclaimer Checkbox - You MUST check this box in order to add a new player or change the team/position of an already-created custom player.

 

Last Name - Enter in only the player's last name into this field.

 

NOTE: Some player names such as Olandis Gary are often reversed incorrectly.  Be sure to verify that the player you want to add is not already in our database.

       

First Name - Enter in the player's first name.

 

Team - Use the pull-down list to select either "FA" (for free agent, the default) or the pro team associated with the player.

 

Position - Select the player's correct position.  Only league-defined positions will appear in the list.  Go to the Starting Lineups Setup screen to enable additional non-team (OT, ST, DT) positions.

 

NOTE: For ease of use, this screen limits the addition to ten players at a time.  In order to add more than ten, enter the first ten and click on the 'Save And Enter 10 More Custom Players' button (or simply save as usual and re-enter this screen).

 

Hide - Use this option to remove the player from reports.  He will still be in the database, but this is the preferred way to switch from a league's custom player to the site's official version of a player.

 

 

When finished, you MUST click on the Save Custom Players button in order to add the player(s).
