Use this setup screen to define parameters for your starting lineups.  Note that these items will only appear if they have been enabled on the General League Setup screen.

 

Lineup Submission Deadline -

•KICKOFF: Kickoff Time for First Game of the Week.  All players must be started/benched by the kickoff of the first game of each week.
•EARLY: Players In Early Games Are Locked At Kickoff Of Their Game, Other Players Are Locked Sunday at 1PM EST. This setting requires all players in early (Thursday, Friday, & Saturday) games to be started/benched at the kickoff of their individual game.
•GAMETIME: Players Are Locked At Kickoff Of Their Game.  Each player can be started/benched just prior to the start of his NFL game.
•CALENDAR: Define one or more Specific Date(s)/Time(s).  Specify exactly when all players must be started/benched each week for Sunday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday games.  Selection of this option will add five (5) event types to the 'Event Type/Title' element on the League Calendar Setup screen:
•lineup deadline for all games
•lineup deadline for Thursday games
•lineup deadline for Friday games
•lineup deadline for Saturday games
•lineup deadline for Sunday games
•lineup deadline for Monday games

NOTES:

1. Each deadline can be set to terminate on the quarter hour.

2. Deadlines are defined in the league's local time zone.

3. Multiple deadlines are supported (i.e., for each day's games)

4. Deadlines can be the same or different from week to week.

5. All deadlines will appear on the Monthly League Calendar report.

 

Are Partial Lineups Allowed? -

Under certain circumstances, the site allows an owner to submit what it considers to be a "partial lineup". The site considers a "partial lineup" one that has none of the individual position maximums (or overall number of starters) as set on the "Starting Lineups Setup" page exceeded.  There are three options for this setting:

 

1. Use the system rules for deciding if partial lineups are allowed or not.

 

The system-default rules for deciding if partial lineups are allowed or not are:

a) if the deadline is KICKOFF or CALENDAR (using "Lineup Deadline for All Games"), a partial lineup is invalid.

b) if the deadline is GAMETIME, a partial lineup is valid.

c) if the deadline is EARLY and the first game of the week is on a Sunday, a partial lineup is invalid.

d) if the deadline is EARLY, the first game of the week is not on Sunday (i.e., it's on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) and it's currently before kickoff of the first game of the week, a partial lineup is valid.

e) if the deadline is EARLY, the first game of the week is not on Sunday (i.e., it's on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday) and it's currently after kickoff of the first game of the week, a partial lineup is invalid.

 

2. Yes, partial lineups are always allowed.

 

Select this option if owners may submit a partial lineup at any time.

 

3. No, partial lineups are never allowed.

 

Select this option if owners must submit a complete lineup each time that they submit their lineup.
