For Commissioners > Setup > Salary Cap Setup > Salaries/Contracts Setup


 

This options is only available if your league has been set up to track player salaries in General League Setup.  The information defined on this page will appear on the Rosters report.  For pre-defined salaries or to copy salaries please use the Select Packaged Player Salaries screen.

 

Set Salaries For - This setting only appears for deluxe leagues and allow commissioners the ability to set different salaries for the same player based on conference or division.

 

Show Only - Use either one of these (position & roster status) filters to assist in defining salary and contract information for a  subset of players.

 

NOTE: By default, this screen will only display players on any franchise's active roster.   For league's without any rostered players, you will need to change the filters in order to define initial salary information.

 

Set Salary / Contract Info - Use this set of free-form text boxes to define your salary and contract information for players.

 

Default Salary/Contract.  Enter in a value in each field to be used for all players without their own salary or contract information defined.

 

Salary Column.  For any/all players requiring a non-default salary, enter in the amount of their salary as desired.

 

Contract Year.  Enter in the length of the contract in years or the year in which the contract expires (or other) as needed by your league's rules.  Value must be an integer.

 

Contract Status.  Use this column to display an optional status for a player's contract.  Value is free-form text.

 

Contract (or other) Information Column.  This column can either be used to define contract years for any player or as a placeholder for other information.  Value is free-form text.

 

Clear Above Information - Check the appropriate box in any/all of the columns and click on the Save button to quickly and easily delete all the salary/contract related information from the chosen column. 

 

NOTE: Be extremely careful as this information cannot be restored in the event of a mistake and will need to be manually re-entered.

 

 

When finished, you MUST click on the Save Salary/Contract Information button in order to apply your changes.
