Franchise xx Name - The name of each fantasy team.

 

Owner Name - The name of each team's owner or owners.

 

Franchise Password - The password required by the franchise owners to perform franchise operations.  Use this field to change a team password.  By default a password is defined upon league creation.  Use the Password Reminder to have it emailed to the email(s) defined in the Email Address field.

 

NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive and must be at least six (6) characters in length.

 

Confirm Password - The same password as above retyped to avoid any typing errors.  If you change the Franchise Password, you must also change the Confirm Password to match.

 

Email Address - The email address(es) of the owner(s).  Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.

 

Daytime Phone - The daytime phone number for the team owner.  Used as a reference for the commissioner and league-mates to contact one another.

 

Evening Phone - The evening phone number for the team owner.  Used as a reference for the commissioner and league-mates to contact one another.

 

Fax - The fax number for the team owner.  Used as a reference for the commissioner.

 

Cell - The cellular telephone number for the team owner.

 

Cell Phone Carrier - If you enter your cell phone number and your cell phone carrier above, you will receive text messages at 3pm, 4:30pm, 6pm, 7:30pm and 10pm ET on Sundays with live scoring updates (which roughly corresponds to halftime and the final of the 1pm and 4pm ET games, and then halftime of the Sunday night game. Cell phone carriers limit text messages to be about 100 or so bytes long, so these text messages will only contain scores for your franchise, as well as your fantasy opponent. In addition, these text messages will contain a link to your Reports > Wireless > Live Scoring page, allowing you to see more live scoring details if your cell phone has a built-in web browser.  If you do not see your cell phone carrier listed on this drop-down, please let us know, as we may well be able to add more carriers to this list.

 

Street Address - The numeric and street address for the team owner.

 

CIty, State, Zip - The city, state, and zip code where the owner resides.

 

Franchise Home Page URL - Enter the address of a web page on another web server.  A link from the franchise name on the Franchise Information report will take the user to this defined page.  Your URL must start with the "http://" text.

 

Franchise Icon URL - Either select one of our system's icons or enter the web address (URL) for your own icon located on another web server.  You must use this option if you want to use a custom icon that is greater than 40 kb in size.  If you use this option, you need not use the "Upload Icon File" option below.  Your URL must start with the "http://" text.  Icons appears on the Standings report.

 

Upload Icon File - If you want to use a custom team icon that's less than 40 kb in size and you have the image saved to your local computer, use this option to upload a copy of it to our system.  If you use this option, you need not use the "Franchise  Icon URL" option above.  Icons appears on the Standings report.

 

Franchise Logo URL - Either select one of our system's helmets/miscellaneous logos, create your own text-based logo, or enter the web address (URL) for your own logo located on another web server.  You must use this option if you want to use a custom logo that is greater than 40 kb in size.  If you use this option, you need not use the "Upload Logo File" option below.  Your URL must start with the "http://" text.  Logos appears on the Franchise Information report.

 

Upload Logo File - If you want to use a custom team logo that's less than 40 kb in size and you have the image saved to your local computer, use this option to upload a copy of it to our system.  If you use this option, you need not use the "Franchise  Logo URL" option above.  Logos appears on the Franchise Information report.

 

Franchise Sound Clip URL - Enter the address of a sound byte located on another web server.  The sound will play when a person accesses the individual team's Franchise Information report data by clicking on the team name in the Standings report.  Your URL must start with the "http://" text.

 

Upload League Sound Clip File - If you want to use a custom sound clip that's less than 40 kb in size and you have the sound byte saved to your local computer, use this option to upload a copy of it to our system.  If you use this option, you need not use the "Franchise Sound Clip URL" option above.

 

NOTE: Only .wav and .mp3 file formats are supported.

 

Play Audio Clip On League Pages? - Accept the default of 'yes' or change to 'no' if you prefer to not hear the league audio clip or any owner audio clips.  This will not disable any audio clips added through custom HTML.

 

Franchise Abbreviation - Define an abbreviation to your franchise name that will be used instead of the full franchise name on the various league wireless and grid reports.

 

Yahoo Messenger ID - Enter the ID for the franchise owner for this chat program.  The Franchise Information report will display when the owner is online/offline.

 

AOL Instant Messenger Screen Name - Send a message or request an addition to the franchise owner's buddy list for this alternate chat program.

 

ICQ ID - Enter the ID for the franchise owner for yet another chat program.  The Franchise Information report will display when the owner is online/offline.

 

Send Email As - Define how you want to receive the format for your system-generated email.

Plain Text - If your email program does not interpret HTML, you should select this option. If you're not sure if your program can interpret HTML or not, but still want to receive email updates, you should probably check this option.

HTML - If you send and receive email using a program that can interpret HTML (which will give a better looking appearance), you may instead want to check this option.

 

Send Email For - Check any/all of the following event boxes to receive system-generated email for the event.

Draft Status Update

Auction Update - Select this box to receive emails for all completed auctions, first bids on new auctions, and any time your franchise is out-bid in an auction.

Opponent's Lineup Submission

Trade Proposals/Results -  When enabled, this option will send email to recipients of trade proposals, rejections, and acceptances.  It will not send email for trade polls (see New Poll Being Created option above).  It will also not send email to owners not involved in the trade.

NFL Injury Status Reported - Checking this box will cause an email to be sent for each injury report (typically one for the early report on Wednesday evening and another for the final report on Friday evening).   The email will contain either "No players ..."  or a list of a team's current roster appearing or on the report.  In addition (for leagues that use a fantasy IR), if an owner has one or more players currently on IR that should not be on IR according to league rules, a warning will be included in the message.

New Poll Being Created - In addition to general poll email, leagues that require owners to vote on trades must have this option enabled (checked) in order to receive notification regarding any pending, accepted trades.  This option is independent from the Trade Proposals/Results checkbox below.

New Message Board Topic Created

New League Article Written

MyFantasyLeague.com Site News - Check this box to receive via email the newest site announcements and site enhancements from MyFantasyLeague.com when they are published.

 

Menu Appearance Options - Specify whether to use the newer Javascript menus or the older (Classic) pull-down list boxes for league navigation.

 

NOTE: WebTV users must use the "Classic" menus as WebTV does not fully support industry standard Javascript.

 

Use "Advanced Editor" on League type-in Boxes? - Default will be based on the Commissioner Settings in the Setup > Other Appearance.  Disable if you use custom HTML codes in your free-form text fields for the both the Bulletin Board and League Articles screens.

 

Time Zone - Choose an individual time zone for this franchise (designed for leagues with owners dispersed across time zones).

 

Other Franchise Notes - Define any additional team notes here which will appear in the Franchise Information report.

 

 

When finished, you MUST click on the Save Franchise Information button in order to apply your changes.
