My league would prefer a penalty for a IR violation. Often times a team will set a line-up weeks in advance and once it’s in, it’s in. By not allowing a line-up to be set is good, but it is not enough.

I would like an option where I can set a penalty if a team starts Sunday or Thursday (if they have a starter) game later in the year with a IR violation (we abhor a team stashing a 15th or 16th player in our 14 team league) of:
- Loss of “X” amount of points from the total score that week
- Forfeit game

I would also want to eliminate the penalty for a compelling reason…such as the team only has 13 players on the roster and wasn’t cheating. We have one team member who travels to China on Sunday….kind of hard to check Sunday morning.

As the Commish I have to manually check this. Also, I agree with the BYE week comment above.

We have a league that started in 1990 that was done in Lotus 123 then Excel spreadsheets before we converted to MFL in 2005.

Do you know how much work you have just created for me LOL?

Awesome addition. I don’t know of any other competitor’s site that would ever do this for their customers.

This would work better if players out on bye weeks were not in violation of IR rules. MyFL has a bad habit of upgrading bye week players to “Q” – which violates my league’s rules. We have to manually observe that they are on bye and ignore the message. Let me know when this fix is initiated and we will take advantage of this feature. Thanks.

PS – I disagree with Chris – Waivers are often how teams correct IR violations.

It would be great if you could also track the top point scorers at each position by week or by year, as well as where that player was drafted (round).

Pickemfirst works with fantasy leagues form MFL (of course!) but also with the ones from Yahoo, ESPN, CBS and NFL.com !!
